Misthaven.info

Misthaven.info was developed to complement the Misthaven Family Community, a virtual town in Second Life. It was designed to be a central source for news and updates, as well as information about rental availability, points of interest in the town, and the various community guidelines.

The centerpiece of the site is a custom-built content management system, designed to let the site owner easily add news and events information without needing to actually edit the website to do it. PHP and a mySQL database power the back end for this functionality.

A personal design highlight for me when building it was the Locations page, which functions as a quick and easy guide to the major landmarks and locations in the town. I had a lot of fun building it.
